Smoothies and Tan was created in 2003 by Hagen Panton. In September 2006 Smoothies and Tan was purchased by Sean Harnage who wanted to make Smoothies and Tan a place where customers could relax and enjoy their tanning experience.

Since the purchase, the salon has been painted, new carpet installed, the rooms have been redesigned, and the Smoothie menu has been updated. Sean has asked customers their opinions and has made changes that customers have said they would like to see.

The Smoothies and Tan new motto is "Its not a tanning session but a tanning experience". Smoothies and Tan has a great staff, great products, and great customers.
